The hotel is excellently located, very close to everything I wanted to see. The rooms were warm, functional, and comfortable, especially the bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The dining experience was exceptional, with everything about The George to a high standard.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with clean, spacious, and well-equipped rooms that overlook a mini forest, offering a beautiful view of the gardens and Hagley Park. The service was exceptional, making my experience superb with friendly and helpful staff. The location was convenient, only a short walk from many attractions while maintaining a relaxed vibe. The hotel's facilities were excellent, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers quiet and dark rooms, which were just what I needed after a long journey. The rooms are well equipped, spacious, and very clean, with fresh-smelling towels and bedding. However, the dining experience was disappointing compared to other hotels on our New Zealand tour.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were incredible, with a lovely bathroom and spa bath experience. The service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions. The dining experience was a mix of great choices but could use some improvements. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.
The hotel's location is wonderful, within walking distance of the city center and the botanical gardens. The rooms, though beautifully appointed with handrails, remained cold during our stay, which was disappointing. The service was exceptionally helpful and friendly, with all staff being pleasant and professional. The dining experience consisted of a standard buffet with a good cooked menu selection. The hotel's proximity to Hagley Park was a delight, and the digital electrics were a modern touch.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and nicely furnished, though my room wasn't ready on arrival, the staff were lovely and gave me a complimentary drink while taking care of my bags. The dining experience was great, but there was some mixed feedback about the service received. The hotel's location was excellent, right opposite the park and within walking distance of the city center.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and super comfortable, with a small kitchen area, lounge, and a walk-in wardrobe. The location was excellent, close to the botanical garden and within walking distance of the city center. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, but the dining options were a bit limited. Overall, a great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were nice and large, providing everything I needed, but being on the ground floor with curtains opening to the carpark and a hint of a moldy smell wasn't ideal. The service was exceptional, with extremely helpful and professional staff making my experience enjoyable. The location was excellent for both business and leisure, offering easy access to key attractions.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, equipped with everything I needed. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the hotel's location made exploring the city a breeze. The dining experience was excellent, although the hot buffet was not available. Overall, a great value for the price paid.
